A challenging and exciting historical renovation/addition! Situated on a large track of land in downtown Greenville, the original body of the home was constructed in 1863. Some remaining original components include wavy glass original windows, heart pine lap siding, original full dimension framing members and along with that, floors out of level and walls out of plumb! Combining unique materials such as reclaimed heart pine floors, Amish made custom doors with "mouth-blown" glass to emulate the original windows, as well as reclaimed antique beams from re-purposed mills in Michigan helped to enhance the historic nature of the home.
